If you have received outreach and want to stop it, use the details below. Your request will be handled without drama.
Your rights under GDPR
Under GDPR and similar data protection laws, you have the right to:
Object to processing — you can ask for your data to no longer be used for marketing purposes.
Request erasure — also called the right to be forgotten. You can ask for your personal data to be deleted.
Request access — you can ask what data is held about you and where it came from.
Correct inaccurate data — if your details are wrong, you can ask for them to be corrected.
How to opt out of outreach from me
The simplest option is to reply to the email you received and say you'd like to be removed. No forms, no explanation needed. You can also email directly:
Once requested, your details will be removed from the relevant list and not used again for outreach. If you have been contacted by mistake, that will be corrected too.
Why opt out rather than just delete?
When you ask to be removed, your email address is added to a suppression list. This means even if your details appear in a future data source, you will not be contacted again. Simply deleting an email does not achieve the same thing — opting out is cleaner and more permanent.
Removing yourself from data sources
B2B prospect data often comes from third-party databases and data providers. If you want to be more thorough, you can opt out directly from these sources too. The checklist below helps you work through the most common ones. Your progress is saved in your browser.
